Good hiring begins with good pre-employment background investigations. Pre-employment background investigations is a screening process used for potential candidates before you offer employment. We conduct a thorough screening of your candidate's total history (personal, work, criminal history [police contacts], driving history, credit history [with candidate's permission], social media, academic achievements and/or business history) to give you a clear picture of who you will be hiring before you make your final hiring decision. 

 

Our government pre-employment background investigations are conducted using the appropriate regulatory agency standards and guidelines. For example, police officer candidate backgrounds are performed using California's Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) guidelines.

PHYSICAL SECURITY ASSESSMENTS

   

Our expert team of security professionals work with business owners, churches, schools and government agencies to conduct physical security assessments by conducting a comprehensive study of your policies (if you have them), security procedures (if you have them), building security and/or vulnerabilities checks, landscape features that impact security, security barriers, lighting, security alarm systems and surveillance cameras, access control systems, emergency management plans (if you have them) and evaluate any training your employees receive.

Our facilitators all have extensive supervisory, management and/or executive experience working in security, public safety and law enforcement environments. Our training can be tailored to fit your department's needs. 

 

We also offer professionally facilitated leadership team building workshops for client's who seek to take a deep dive into their department / organization's current leadership environment. We survey your employees with our employee engagement survey process then use that information to work with you in building a tailored workshop just for you and your team. We help you look at your goals and objectives, SWOT, communication, problem solving and decision making, accountability and standards and processes.

We service professional security officer development regarding state licensing and certification with preparatory training for California BSIS guard card and responsibly armed security officer courses. We also offer conflict resolution, deescalation and defensive use of force training for security officers whose primary job is to interact with the public on a regular basis. We DO NOT teach officers how to attack others, but instead how to respectfully deal with people, deescalate volatile situations and if necessary how to defend themselves or other innocent people as a last resort.
